Since there is no mixing, there is no concern about ratios of hardener typically associated with epoxies. The resin can be applied with applicator tabs, resin waste is minimized and post-sanding operations are greatly reduced. As a rapid repair solution using NSR's high intensity blue light, the repairs can be completed in minutes form beginning to end. The complete summary of the J-24 repairs can be seen here.
NSR™ resins can be used for repairing gelcoat and fiberglass equipment with significant advantages over traditional gelcoat repair products. NSR™ resins will cure at cold termperatures as well as it does at high temperatures. When it gets cooler than 50°F, the cure time for traditional gelcoat repair materials can greatly increase. With NSR™ resins you can still cure the resin in 30 seconds if it is 28°F or 110°F. NSR™ resins do not have a noxious odor typically associated with other resin products. NSR™ resins require no mixing since they are single component, light activated material.
